‘Instinctive Drawing II’ Giclée Print

This is a Giclée print of a large drawing created using charcoal, Conté pastels and coloured pencils on Rives BFK paper. Building up layers of colour, I enjoy creating multi-layered images. This drawing started with organic shapes and patterns that I had seen in distorted mirrors at a museum. Like much of my work however, it grew into something very different from the first sketches. When I start a work, I can never tell how it is going to turn out: there are so many reworkings, so many layers and so much rubbing out!!

This open edition Giclée print is printed using archival grade inks on archival, museum grade paper. This results in a high quality, vibrant and durable print which, if treated well, should seriously outlast the artist (even if I eat my greens)!

This print has a white border around the image to allow for professional art print framing. Please see photos for an indication of the print size relative to its white background. It is printed on museum quality 300gsm paper with archival Epson inks. This paper, Museo Portfolio Rag, is a beautiful and sturdy art paper with a smooth texture, rich matte finish and fabulous colour accuracy.

Each image is created and printed by me in Australia. I then hand sign and number every print & pack it in sturdy, weatherproof packaging. The trusty postal authorities do the rest…
