‘Premonition’ is a work about about a moment in time captured fleetingly, never to be revisited. It’s about change and stillness and a premonition of things to come. This original is created using acrylic paint on canvas and is built up in many layers of both opaque and transparent paint. Jewel-like glazed surfaces contrast with rich textures and scumbling in this work, just as figurative elements contrast with quiet abstract spaces.
